Hi Grabber, lets clear our emotions on XM for just a moment. I have never owned the stock, I do how ever Love my XM radio!

I believe it was Rich who alerted me when the radio service became available. I was the 1st in my town to have one! Rich had purchased the stock a couple of weeks earlier and it had doubled, I believe he took some profits to buy his radio and service. I knew I was late to the party so opted for the radio and DD on the company. My DD (from past memory) showed how GM not XM really controlled the cash flow. XM (from past memory) was to pay GM mucho monies for their involvement, some in royalities, some in preferred's and most in principal and interest. These obligations are tied to GM for 10 years going forward for around 500 million (from past memory once again).

I researched the company completely, read all the 10Q's etc.. I then tried to discuss the possibilities on the SI thread only to be told by the thread master that I was wrong! When I provided the facts that strangled his blatant misguided mind, he still refuted the facts. Thus I decided to let fools part with their pay checks with out my interference.

Well guess what my friend, I missed a very important point but my cautious nature protected my pocket book at the time. The point I missed was that this service is and will become a permanent product in the GM product mix, they have decided that XM will be in every motorized vehicle in the world!

With that wonderful mind of yours, take just a few minutes and write down all the other options that this service could provide via digital satellite to a radio intercepter.

Remember that people are lazy by nature. I tried many times to get folks to go and have their existing radio's taken out and replaced with XM radio's. This is just to much trouble know matter how great a product, easier to buy a brand new vehicle for $40,000 with the XM radio already installed! That is the reality of now and beyond... <smile> XM is now and Beyond!

The time to buy XMSR is appropriate now with the current subscriber pipeline, much more so when only one LemonHead had the service in Jonesboro. Good luck with your investments and let me know how commercial free satellite radio really is?

Food for thought!
Keith

Interesting, lets say that a car lasts on average ten years. What is GM's percentage of the new car market? This XM radio should be a growth stock for around ten years, and then should become a cycle stock. It will probably have three to five stock splits in that ten years.
