Now you know why AMD got off so cheap. We were bargaining
from a weak position. Amd knew we could not hold out long
because of our finacial position. So what did they do...
ignor us...No. Why not? Think about it. Our patents are
strong...they knew it, so for cash, just enough to keep us
afloat they were able to avoid future litigation and position
themselves as part owners of our company. In the meantime
Intel was holding off TLP until they found out about PTSC and
AMD deal then they were forced to settle for a little more...
cause now AMD owns part of a company that Intel is infringing
on....could be big trouble. Bargaining from power is a necessity.
Combined, and with these settlements New company
is a lot stronger. Lot better position to bargain from. I
think everyone else should watch out.
