If you want to turn a severe recession into a full blown depression, institute austerity. That was the policy of Bruning in Germany in the early 1930s, and of Treasury Sec Andrew Mellon in the US.

This is exactly what the banking cartel wants, their goal is the destruction of the independent modern nation state. In their NWO there is no room for a prosperous independent middle class who have some wealth and upward mobility.
