The buy back won't even effect the pps, it would just change the float. Now if KMAG bought back the shares it would lower the O/S if retired then that would effect the pps.

it was simply to lower the O/S...less shares mean greater value of shares out there no matter how you slice it...KMAG

I have stuck with KMAG through major dips but my patience is running out. I wonder how many like me are on the edge right now. I know what I own but bottom line is that we are all in this to make money and if there no money to be made here for months and months...then this may not be the time to stick around. It repeatedly keeps failing to deliver even after all these good news. Just my thoughts...I am long in KMAG..so far!!

lonewolf1 - the buyback period is almost over, because it started before may 3, when it originally announced ("Management believes it is important to reinvest into that growth and has begun its buyback program.") "has began" it is past tense if I am not mistaken.
So I posted it earlier, that in my calculation buyback of 250 mill shares took around 50 days, so end of jun was my prediction, and june is almost over, therefore I am waiting for news next week about the buyback program!
