So, if bb.com has legit advertising opportunities at bb.com that will increase sales at bb.com..... it has a strong potential for impacting sales at bb.com. It is called marketing.... and it is legit.
I am not saying that they make the rankings up. What I am saying is that they have advertising programs that impact sales at bb.com. If bb.com gives mslp a choice spot (sort of like the 1.m.r. hero spot on the front page of bb.com right now)...it can impact placement. There are a hundred different small ways to drive traffic in a manner that is beneficial for sales. If bb.com guides them in a manner that gives them the best chance to do this (or has a president that already knows this).... RANKINGS CAN BE MANIPULATED. 100% legit. Just smart business and smart marketing. Like the analogy of shelf placement used here, just on a website.
If there are legit channels to manipulate (it is called advertising), how can it be against the bbb?
...and awfully funny that we are now looking to the bbb for guidance in matters, when just a few weeks ago, the bbb was being consistently mocked here as a crooked tool that can be bought off. hmmmm..... was anybody bought off? I doubt it, but many on this board might start to speculate.
