have you ever hear of the "overbought-oversold trap".. indicators follow price.. not the other way around.. you guys kill me.. but since yer new to trading let me give you a little friendly hint that may give you a leg up in some cases.. set your stochastics to 5,3,3.. allows more lead time for short term trades.. woops.. there goes my number 2 and last post for the day..
