HI fletch-- what a mess!! We are OK- dad 's house in Pass Christian MS didn't do well- it is the only house standing on the isles ( made of concrete) but had storm surge washed over the roof- ( 40+ feet) so prob a total loss- still not allowed to go see it- hard to comprehend-- relatives houses in NO missed the floods and looters- will have to wait and see- they won't let em back in for 2 months-- I know we are lucky- what a nightmare--
I am going to play in the USGA SR Amateur golf tourny--lol had to get new clubs as mine where in NO.--- there are no more golf courses in my area--- all destroyed or so many trees down it will take a long time to get em back-- haven't practiced but lucky to get to go! no business so i have to do something- -
I know a lot of people drowned in the storm- it was unlike any I've seen- (Betsy Camille etc) -- and all of the lower parish towns are GONE- I don't understand why this isn't covered on the news- guess they have enough w NO- Thanks for asking about us-- praying for all in this mess- take care--xC
