"could have". Also could have lost my butt several times over.
I am an investor, not a trader. Investing is not my living, it is an investment in the future. I take gains and bank them at intervals. I've also lost on a few longs plays. But my investments have already paid for themselves, and my losses, and sit pretty now.
Watching pennies and calling out scams is a morbid hobby I was drawn into after some friends got duped by a snake oil show in the OTC. I tried to save them. Now they get it. And now I have a hobby that I can enjoy in-between work which keeps me on the computer much of the day anyway :)
