Absolutely dead wrong. Since when did "holders of record" mean shareholders?

Etrade = one "holder of record" but that single "holder of record" could represent thousands of shareholders.

All that statement is saying is, there are a min. of 618 shareholders at that point in time. Of that number some are probably held "in street name" for multiple parties. Actual number varies obviously but, is also much higher than 618.
