What did Rauber do with JBI over 2 years? If it was something consequential, I have no doubt the fluffy NR would have extrapolated upon it. If Rauber had some influential role during those two years, why didn't we hear about it a year or two ago?

This tie in with JBI is entirely weak. The fact that JBI deems it necessary to percolate some form of relationship with a mere "over the past two years" without expressing any detail, is farcical and aimed at pennystock aficionados so they may invent their own stories and spread it upon the hallowed SMBs.
