#12508 RE: Specalculator1 #12506

Thanks for the real definition of shorts, James! I've recently read this too.
So, considering that the few hands who put these on the market, are the only ones who would technically have shares to short (and produce their revenues from the overall promo), they would need to be entered at a price above the lower pps-value-limits; which may already have been filtered through the dips and rips. This may help to explain the promo continuing horizontal as long as it HAS been.

The question remains, how many shares do the principles have left to enter, presuming that they intend to fill out all of their shares?
An added scenario; APS claimed around a week or so back, that they would be buying in to the tune of a few million shares. If indeed they did, that would create a short-selling situation too.

With the daily (typical slow summer volume) we may still be seeing shorts go through here.

I'm just thinking out loud here, trying to wrap my head around this.
Can one of the more experienced and knowledgeable traders here please confirm my ideas?
Also, does anyone have a link showing the outstanding shorts?
Thanks
