In addition to process improvements, Yonah has design improvements over Dothan, including more aggressive ways to turn off cache when not in use and more chip units that go to sleep when not needed. These design improvements will also help reduce the amount of leakage. If you still doubt, then you won't have much longer to wait until actual tests can measure the difference.
