I bought into ATRN initially early in the year (around January) through TDA with no problem and my first buy was at .04. That is interesting. I also got the "no initial positions" from them at that time for other penny stocks I was wanting to trade. So I called them and they indicated that it was based upon the "riskiness" of the trade at that point. Evidentally, they assess companies and will not let you trade those they deem too risky. I'm not sure if "risky" is the term they used to explain it to me but it is in the same ballpark.
I can only assume that they feel ATRN is now in that category. I think I would have to agree with them. I now have a Etrade account that has never limited my trades with any stock.
Can't PM Gary but I think we all wish we could take back the way we played this one. I'm red and at this point, and have decided to stay in it for the ride. Hopefully this ride will once again go up at some point.
