It is very clear now that Patent Application 12/640344, for the 2-bead manufacturing technology, is being moved quickly by the USPTO towards Patent Grant status and publication. IMO by mid-Sept 2012.

When this happens Elite will be in a Major Pharma's position of controlling the successful Commercial Manufacturing for agonist/antagonist opioid drugs. Pfizer/King with their ALO-01 Embeda® failure and Purdue with their necessary replacement of Oxycontin CP® to hard-shell Oxycontin OP® will be in a very difficult position if pressed by the FDA to contract with Elite.
