Not only are there a lot of similar products on Amazon, in looking through the Pet Industry Directory and Buying Guide I mentioned, there are dozens more. There is nothing particularly wrong with that, the pet industry is very crowded and many products are not available nationwide. Amazon is changing that, of course.
The talk of patents is probably nonsense. The active ingredient in Pawtizer is benzalkonium chloride, the same stuff that is in Bacitracin and Lysine. Are people confused with patents and trademarks? It would seem so.
