Absolutely.
I was at a party this past weekend and got into a conversation with a banker concerning the federal reserve, the gold standard, blah, blah. At the end of the conversation, and out of no where, he, not me, started talking about the trend towards energy conservation / retro-fitting etc. I pressed him on this without telling him about my investments. Now he may be invested as well for all I know, but he was convinced that the government is about to start making this a priority by way of massive funding/tax credits etc. He believes that everyone knows this is the wave of the future (at least in his business) and the next big industry in North America, but the government has been slow to react. When they do... watch out.
