A related factor to the big picture for the rearrangement of
NG players in the near future is the Russians. I did not save
the link, but the other day I read an article in some online
news feed, that said something about the Russians entering
into talks with the Japanese about laying a gas pipeline to
Japan. So how that will affect US and world prices is above
my pay grade. However, the Washington DC think tanks all
have to add a new desk to prepare a white paper on that
eventuality. Japan seems determined to replace their nuclear
power plants with gas, and once a pipeline was in, it would
seem to offer a cheaper means of deliver than by ship.
