I agree with HamHam that it is a possibility that there was some predatory things going on that perhaps required them to go along.. perhaps some of the OTHER investments of Drew were on the line for this deal and perhaps that would have actually shut the doors down. I respect HamHam's opinion and think he is more open to both good and bad possibilities than most here.
I don't think apparel, by itself, is going to make or break this company.... but lets be clear... 10% net is not a good deal. It is a terrible deal. It has been defended so many times here as a great deal or perhaps the market standard and it just isn't the case.
I can see the potential positives and negatives of the bonus plans, I can see the positives and negatives of the NSF things, I can see the positives and negatives of them spending money. Apparel.... it is just one thing that I see absolutely no positive for this company at this moment in time. 100% negative for business from this time forward. Absolutely think it is silly.... and how they handled the disclosures makes it even more suspect IMO.
Fortunately, it is not the main avenue of income.... well it is an avenue of no income.
