OCZ would gain instant "enterprise level credibility" if this comes out from MSFT in a PR, or is otherwise verified. That might be the straw the would break the back of the shorts.

Agreed. The "our sources" for The Register could be a bunch of bloggers somewhere. Would be nice, if true, to see an official PR.
