You have to understand that until James decides to PR the fact that the Total companies are officially a part of Renuen, NO ONE can confirm it. The person you spoke with (you never posted a name which would have helped) may not even know who owns the company. They may just be doing their job and collecting a check.
All of the evidence (the logos, email tags for personnel, physical adresses, etc) is circumstantial UNTIL it is pr'ed by James, but it all is pointing to the same conclusion.
The reason for the animosity yesterday was that you posted vague comments as fact without any proof, then recanted and said it was "selective memory". Post fact and back it up with sources - that eliminates the need for any backtracking. JMO.
