I'm sorta doing the same thing leveraging today's dollars to buy metals. If things go south I will pay off all debts immediately but until then I am loading up.

This is a zero sum game. Folks on the wrong side of the trade will be crushed as the greatest transfer of wealth of all time takes place.

Yuan is possible because their is little doubt China has the most gold not to mention they are the largest producer and now importer of the metal.

Maybe an international basket of currencies, metals etc. The IMF is now buying gold as well

How much did the US buy last year? Oh wait none the balance sheet never changes lol
