There has to be something missing from finding any type of business permit and I am sure that Beezer or YU could find it. Something with the names or LLC's. Believe me, that the City of Los Angeles would not allow them to operate on the main streets that the stores are on without the proper licensing. I have driven by both stores and they do exist for a fact. They do look very nice from the outside looking in. Very bright looking.
So I know they do exist and must operate somehow legally. I do not know if they have to be listed in California, but more specific in the city of business. Sometimes that can in itself be hard to figure. While they might have a Los Angeles mailing address, the business license might be from the city closest that might have jurisdiction as some of the cities are not really cities, but areas. Robertson Store is on the edge of Beverly Hills and Melrose is on the edge of Santa Monica. They might actually be in the County area of Los Angeles and not subject to a City License.
