Well we know it's NOT that fear of actually having banned substances in their product that some claimed was going to be the issue.(OMG what if?)

So I don't have to waste another Post on this topic...the answer is...........

If it were a problem with substances being banned; he would have come out and said it...it's NSF sole responsibility/job at the end of the day to protect the public from harmful products.

I find it very disturbing that a 3rd party testing facility which is suppose to have no influence by the businesses in which it regulates is keeping hush hush as to why they pulled a companies products.. You would think it would be their business to educate the general public on these specific actions..

no matter what the reasoning is behind it.. The NSF should not be closed lip about their actions for pulling a product.. it should be the exact opposite if they legitimately want to help/educate the public..

All I see now is the only program which conforms to government standards doing whatever they please..

Let me be more clear on this standard. They are not the only entity ever allowed to grant NSF. If another entity wants to they can go through the certification process.. HOWEVER<<<and this a big red flag to me>>>> The ONLY standard accepted by the USADA and FDA is the "ANSI/NSF 173 standard"

The ANSI/NSF 173 standard is the only standard currently available for evaluating dietary supplements, and any testing company can use the standard if they choose.

Basically if some other company wants to come in and adopt this standard.. all the NSF has to do behind the scenes is make a change to this standard, become fully adapted, then amend the procedures so anyone trying to follow suit will be thrown for a loop...

I don't like this one bit.. its Monopoly... It may not ever happen within a time frame for which we will be shareholders.. but I see potential for the WADA stepping in, in the future.. and taking over testing as the WADA is the authority when it comes the most prestigious athletic competitions... OLYMPICS.

As of now the WADA does NOT certify any supplements only does banned substance testing among athletes, and puts out a banned substance list.. But seeing how the WADA is funded by governments around the world and has no bias it would be the more suitable..

Until then MP has no choice but to play ball with NSF and IC.. they can still have banned substance free supplements and they do.. but if they want a certification to go with it they have no choice but to play ball with the NSF..
