Hank, have you read the Beta6 Release notes?

In those notes, under -

You will see -

The key thing that is still missing is the ability for members to save charts into their Favorites list(s).

Is this what you are referring to?

For the beta 6 version you need to set up your chart and then use the "Link to this chart" link under the chart to create your full URL before putting it in your browser's favorites list (you can't add to your StockCharts favorites in the beta 6). Unless you see the words "id=p########" in the URL, you haven't used the "Link to this chart" link and you are not really saving anything in the beta version. This is talked about in the yellow "what's new" block which has important information about usage as well.
