Both Provident Metals and APMEX buy Silver back. You can also sell on ebay. I suppose one could hold physical until its re-monitized. I wouldnt really worry about selling silver I would worry about getting the best price since its getting scarce.

Hi Ironwill

Buy physical if you think the world might come to an end. Buy some just in case.

Buy SLV, PSSLV, SLW, CEF to diversify other holdings. You can trade in and out of it also.

Check out www.aim-users.com for a method of trading that takes the emotion out of investing. Basically you

1) Decide what you want to own (funds are safer as they can't go to zero)

2) Following the method you buy GRADUALLY as securities go down and sell GRADUALLY as they go up. This is totally determined by price and you know your next trade points in advance.

So you might want to own : Large Cap, Small Cap, Foreign, REIT, SIlver, and of course some Bonds. You decide the initial allocation. That will change gradually as the system has you trade and you may want to rebalance after some years.

If you have any questions after reading www.aim-users.com e-mail me privately
