I don't know what you thought it was for. The survey was 50% of it and a safe zone to debate anything you want was the other 50%. There is no possible way that you can debate "heated" issues without being "heated". Although, having said that, as far as I'm concerned, it is relatively civil. In fact, I can't really see where anyone has gone beyond civility in espressing their strongly held beliefs.

But, even if they do, it beats the hell out of it happening on VMC. And, it USED to happen on VMC and it doesn't happen any longer on VMC. This provides an outlet for expressing opinions that are bound to become incendiary without interferring with the business of making money.
