after 11 years, i'm ok with them being crooked if i can get a 3-4-5-6-7 or 8-banger out of it. so far, i have a negative-5 banger.

kind of like a horse race. i know it's fixed, but it's ok as long as i wind up on the right side of it.

I believe the counterpoint is there are degrees of being crooked. If one crook gives you money for years and then steals a small percentage that is better than the crook who steals your money for years and never gives you a cent back. They may be both crooks but one is more of a Robinhood and the other more Madoff like.
