OT-Pokersam LOL back at ya. The Bush haters are not happy people. I always laugh when they say the U.S. is not rich because it leans towards free enterprise, but because of its natural resources. My response: Hong Kong. They don't even have their own drinking water, they have to import it. When the USSR is mentioned, they always say "they didn't to it right." LOL. Some people refuse to see.

By the way, I was off on my Texas comment earlier. I said 20K+ people taken in by Texas. Turns out it is 70K+!!!

I am also a person of faith. Not blind faith though. If it is blind, then Christianity is no better than any other faith. Logic and evidence confirm the truth. For the best minds on the subject, see

I am in their apologetics (defending the faith) program and it is great.

OT...Pokersam,

Why is it that Bushites always like to refer to someone who doesn't like Bush as a Communist or a very left leaning liberal? I hate Bush and I am a Libertarian. I hate all kinds of fascism whether it be what the Neocons offer or what the Communists offer. Freedom of speech (dissent) is currently under attack. Thomas Friedman of the NY Times has said that those people who don't agree with Bush and the Iraq war should be prosecuted as traitors. I am also a Christian but I believe that power corrupts and the religious right wants to establish a theocracy here while trying to overthrow Islamic theocracies in the Middle East. Our theocracy is better than yours! A lot of Republicans used to have Libertarian leanings until this whole Neocon and Christian Right power grab came about. Bottom line...it's all about individualism vs. collectivism.
