If there was only bio gas then why drill a third well?

458 Mil is an estimate, but the Rig Update 37 days ago is interesting... could it be the Rig itself is drilling elsewhere and not in KINA? or is KINA being drilled again? Thank you for spotting that!

Southern Man ....Back in the day ....from BB

•In deep to ultra deepwaters (>1,000m), there generally have to be recoverable volumes of 400 to 500 million barrels of oil to make a stand-alone project commercial.

Kina prospect Status History

Status History Tab

Click "Status History" in the second blue bar.

Drilled (Status Unknown) - Oct 07, 2009 to -

So it is just updated to "Status Unknown".

The Oil estimates where based upon the pre-drill seismic. They mean little once the prospect is actually drilled and found not to contain oil. They only exception to this would be if they drilled into sands that were not in communication with other oil bearing sands. But I believe during the CC call it was mentioned they would be drilling other prospects if there was additional drilling, which would suggest they are satisfied they know what was in those prospects.
