Hi KMAGers, For whatever its worth, here are a few of my posting pet peeves. I'm writing this for the benefit of some us who want to read each post without having to take all day to do it. Today for example I got home from work and see that there are 250 posts for me to read. Below are examples of posts I don't care to read.
I'm tired of reading posts of people explaining things that nobody asked for. There's no need to tell me how to invest my money. I didn't hire you as my money manager.
Also, it irritates me to read what if posts. ie, what happens if Jeff doesn't come out with great numbers or what if Jeff doesn't release news on such and such a date. What if Jeff doesn't do this or that. IMO those people don't belong here. They're scaring themselves.
Finally, when there's a run, I don't care to read 50 posts telling me the stock is about to run, kaboom, we have taken off, weeeeeeeeee etc. We all have a computer in front of us and see that.
Some posts are entertaining and funny but they take time to read. Don't get me wrong. I have a sense of humor but this isn't a comedy hour or a college football game and I don't want cheerleaders.
Some of us have more than one stock to follow and don't want to take the time to read unnecessary repetitive posts. All I ask is before you post to remember it takes time for another to read it. Therefore, if it doesn't have to be said, don't say it. Thanks and go KMAG.
