Dew, Compal is selling to very price sensitive markets. Centrino will make it there eventually, but Intel is taking the opportunity to get higher margins right now. It just makes more business sense to charge higher prices for new technology. More affluent countries like the U.S. will take to Centrino like bees to honey.
