Yesterday I read that Kazaa was GIVEN to them recently after all the revenue loss they incurred last year, and now that they, ATRN, has been appointed an investment bank?

I understand the necessity of Kazaa's platform being perhaps crucial to Spyder, but how does one get appointed as an investment bank?
Wouldn't that require underwriters with some serious capital?
