The move itself will likely trigger the cross. So, for me, with the
chart settings I like to use, it is more of a lagging indicator.
BUT, it generally attracts many chartists & momo players who look
for confirmations on a stock price before entry!!!
Personally, I prefer the risk-REWARD of buying BEFORE the cross as
I did again today!! I am thrilled with the price action, support
& strength with the ASK slapping.
No LONGS would stack the ask like we've seen on HLNT unless they
were thinking of trying to scalp, or add to their core lower, wanted
to stall the stock for some reason, etc.. (could be short interest
too,...in order to forestall a short-cover-rally). BUT, HLNT has
just re-traced on very low volume & is NOW ROARING & SURGING AHEAD
again. I Love it!!
