I think the wrong interpretation has been put on the wording of the PR.
It could be that they are still negotiating as they say "following the termination of negotiations with a potential acquirer for the business."

The way it is worded they are not stating they have terminated negotiations but that they "will" (wind down support for its agency business following the termination of negotiations with a potential acquirer for the business.)


Looks to me like they are merely stating that they are attempting to sell this and that can only be good for us.

Interesting take. To me this makes the most sense so far. The negotiations are definitely still in progress and they are hammering out the final details to make it happen imo. This needs to be stickied.

Whos to say that their closing that agency. "winding down support" maybe because its not their agency to support anymore. Maybe they sold it to the potential buyer. Maybe "termination of negotiations" is just that. If the deal is done, their would be no more negotiations. That would also explain Bakers leaving. Its doesnt state anything clearly of closing the agency down. This would be a good way to mislead investors, if in fact that is what theyre trying to do. Of course this is all speculation. I just thought with all the other crazy scenarios ive been reading here, I might as well add one to them.

A pr shouldn't need to be translated, the company shud have just come out and said it what the deal was and not let this be open to bs interpretation blah blah
