It could just qas easily be a shareholder painting the tape or a MM trying to entice sellers. A seller who was scared by the drop may welll try to sell early at the new price. Unfortunately if this is true the bid will be significantly lower and if the MM drops it below 1.05 sellers may well be scared into capitulating.
If it's Matin why wouldn't he place a few small market bujy orders early and try to encourage others to buy?
