Well I guess you have a point there. So what you are saying is this perverted kid, (who perhaps got into Harvard on good luck as well?) stole someone else's idea so he could pick up chicks, fumbled through computer programming to put it together, named it Facebook (also luck that name was better than other social media names because you emphasized the fact that the name helped) then somehow managed to get some office space, large enough to house 3000 employees and by shear luck get enough large companies to pay him money to advertise on his "pick up college girls" site. And that after only 8 years in business has generated over 1.5 billion in revenue (the large retailer that I work for with over 1500 stores in 3 countries didn't break 1B in revenue until its 16th year in business) and then had what some have called the second largest IPO in history to become one of the richest people in the world (I could be wrong but I thought I read he is now number 12 or somewhere around there richest in the world) and he accomplished all of that through pure luck with no skill, business skills or knowledge of how to PROPERLY run a business. Well sir if that's the case then I can only hope that you and I should someday have the same level of luck that this kid does! I'll even take 1% of his luck!
But remember this....many of today's conveniences and necessities started out as something completely different. And many of the riches people in the world got there by taking chances and having a vision. I don't think there is a single billionaire out there that when asked how did you make your money would answer "I was very lucky"
But I have my opinion and you have yours. To me whoever is right doesn't matter as long as we both make money from this kids skill or luck.
