Absolutely.

To get an idea of how this could pan out (not will - but could)You can pull numerous charts on well known IPO's and see how they reacted. The commonality will surprise you. The rise, the pull back, the LT move upward if the fundamentals give cause for support.

Also it doesn't hurt to go to some boards of recent stocks that IPO'd and read them from post one or at least from the first day of trade. You will see some common mistakes made.
