The changes have taken place. May I suggest that you go back and do some more DD.
As to replacing Chris as a CEO you are entitled to your opinion but my opinion differs significantly from yours. Everywhere I turn, I see just how bad the market is for gold and silver companies right now.
However the market was not always this bad. So I have some opions as to what hurt the stock price. I will address some of them here.
In my opinion, the unwarranted character assassination of Chris Dupont hurt this stock when the market was good. Personally, I am happy with Chris Dupont's geological skills, work ethic and fund raising abilities when it comes to running a mining company as are many other smart and loyal investors.
I have warned the naysayers on this board and other boards that they would do better to support their CEO than to crucify him at every occasion. But they would not listen and continued to shoot themselves and other shareholders in the foot. Now we all pay a bigger price than the market warrants. I still question the real motives behind this type of financially suicidal behavior - woodshed and all.
While the poor market conditions can be blamed for this most recent drop, the dumping that took place when the 114grams over 7.8 meters was announced served as a major momentum killer when this stock was ready to take off. No single move hurt more and contributed to a larger dilution (than would otherwise be required) more than that single damaging dump. Was this an orchestrated vindictive move to support the character assassination campaign? Was it designed to hurt the share price and increase the dilution? Everyone on this board will have their own conclusions as to the motive for that dumping. I will have mine and others will have theirs. Nothing, however can change the facts. Shares were dumped instead of being sold off in a more normal profit taking orderly fashion in the midst of glory hole news release.
Other facts are that the Explor team continues to hit high grade gold now even at shallow depths - yet they continue to get criticized for their tremendous progress. Just yesterday we learned of hole 65 which encountered 0.83 'ounces' of gold over 10.8 feet at the shallowest depth yet - less than 100 meters below surface. Almost immediately, negative posts began to appear on this board.
Nothing can change the fact that the ounces continue to grow with every hole drilled. Nothing will change the fact that Chris Dupont has managed to raise funds when many others could not.
Putting the blame on the CEO is the easy thing to do but it is not always the right thing to do. I am of the view that in this case, it is not the right thing to do. That said, how many junior resource companies do you know that put out 43-101 reports every six months? Yet Chris Dupont is doing just that. How many junior exploration companies do you know that hit gold with every drill hole over a 2km strike?
I also have been around mining stocks long enough to recognize manipulative behavior when I see it. The dumping that took place when the 114 grams was 'unexpectedly' announced was (in my opinion) manipulative/vindictive in nature. And since it was not the CEO selling, I for one, will not be pointing my finger in that direction. Nor, dare I say, should anyone with a legitimate interest in Explor Resources.
