We think a run (significant rise in stock price) is coming solely because of the fantastic news that you are on board!! not because of anything in particular about the charts, volume etc.
In my opinion, the stock should have started to make a nice run by now, but it has actually dropped (the dilution wasn't helping us). We really shouldn't need more news but the run may unfortunately have to wait for the news release of the next Cannacig order arriving and being distributed.
Shorting a stock is when you sell shares that you don't own. You "borrow" them from someone who owns them. You are basically betting that the share price will go down. When the share price goes down you buy shares to "cover" your short position. You win if the stock price goes down, lose if it goes up.
