Plus get the equipment down there and start pumping some crude. The appreciation of the stock alone for them would have been worth it. That's if the claims of finding commercial oil is true and wasn't a ploy by someone to sell some shares. Been known to happen before.
I was told quotes of around 80k per well to wire line in Belize, a complete rip off and trying to take advantage of Treaty. I am glad Treaty didn't pay the ransom of 160k and instead purchased their own equipment and moved towards independence.
Maybe it cost the company time but in the end it should pay off big for the company and shareholders as well.....IMO
