I think that Brennan was contacted and stated something along these lines, "Yes, we want to keep the MIT 1000, manufactured by Micro Imaging Technology, certified. The new certificates will be for the 'new bugs' with OSIO as manufacturer and Micro Imaging Technology...as developer...we'll update the old listeria cert...to OSIO...down the road...maybe..."

But I have no idea, as Rathbone never answered my E. I wouldn't mind seeing AOAC suffer a serious black eye from this pOrk scam...after all, they are merely a "paid-for-endorsement" entity, as far as I'm concerned.
