Guy A. Archbold, Director
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, PRESIDENT
Mr. Archbold joined Rackwise, Inc. as its Chief Executive Officer in September 2011, bringing over 30 years of senior management and entrepreneurial experience in Finance, Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, Venture Capital, Portfolio Management, and Alternative Green Energy. Mr. Archbold began his career with the investment banking firm of Blyth Eastman Dillon & Co., which was subsequently acquired by Paine Webber. At Paine Webber, Mr. Archbold earned the distinction of becoming the youngest Senior Vice President and Divisional Director in the firm while managing Paine Webber’s Boardroom Operations from the headquarters office in New York City. Mr. Archbold later assumed the senior management responsibility for the western-half of the United States as the youngest Senior Vice President for the New York-based investment banking and institutional research firm of Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette, Inc., the first Wall Street firm to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Archbold subsequently collaborated in a partnership with the former Dean of Finance at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management to develop and manage quantitative analysis investment management programs and actively managed investment funds for state and local governmental retirement funds, endowment funds, non-profit organizations, corporate retirement funds, municipalities, individuals, and brokerage firms. The firm was eventually sold to Dean Witter Morgan Stanley.

In 2001, Mr. Archbold founded as CEO and Chairman a NASDAQ green alternative energy management company which, under Mr. Archbold’s leadership, successfully developed an environmentally green cogeneration platform while negotiating and creating strategic and alliance partnerships with significant industry leaders, including: The Southern California Gas Company, the largest natural gas utility in the world; URS Corporation, the largest civil engineering firm in the United States; Cummins Corporation; and Caterpillar Corporation, the world’s largest manufacturer of natural gas reciprocating engines and earth moving equipment. Mr. Archbold led the company’s growth from a development stage company to a successful commercial entity with a $500 million market capitalization while selling its’ green energy products to such companies as Hilton Hotels, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Federated Department Stores.

In 2009 Mr. Archbold accepted a position of Director for the venture capital firm of Black Diamond Financial Group, LLC, the original venture capital group and majority shareholders of Mr. Archbold’s green energy company and whose original founding partners included John P. Calamos of Calamos Asset Management, and P. Imeson, formerly of Calamos Funds. Black Diamond Financial Group is a major shareholder of Rackwise, Inc.

Mr. Archbold has a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University and has completed advanced professional management courses at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, and Princeton University. Mr. Archbold has one son, William A. Archbold, who is currently serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Army after graduating as a member of the Class of 2010 from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Jeff Winzeler
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jeff has more than 23 years of financial, operational, and executive management experience with publicly traded technology companies.

From 2007 to 2012, Jeff served as the CFO of Solar Power Incorporated (SPI), where his responsibilities included Accounting, Finance, HR and Marketing. Jeff joined SPI as President of the company’s franchise subsidiary where he led the development and deployment of the first franchise concept to the residential solar market in the United States.

From 2004 to 2007, Jeff was the CFO and COO of International Display Works (IDW), a publicly traded Liquid Crystal Display company. He managed multiple aspects of the company, including manufacturing operations in China, raising equity capital to fund company growth (over $75M), M&A transactions, migration from the OTC market to NASDAQ, and the eventual highly successful and profitable sale of the company to a nationally recognized NYSE company (Flextronics).

From 1988 to 2004, Jeff worked as a Financial Controller for Intel Corporation. Jeff lived and worked in multiple Intel locations worldwide, including Arizona, New Mexico, Israel, Malaysia, where he managed the financial operations of many of Intel’s wafer fabrication and assembly-test operations. Prior to leaving Intel in 2004, Jeff was the Controller of Intel’s $2b FLASH memory division located in Folsom CA.

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Idaho where he majored in Finance.

Emmett DeMoss
CHAIRMAN EMERITUS
Emmett DeMoss, Chairman Emeritus, has significant experience in identifying emerging business trends and positioning companies to accelerate growth and revenue during the transition.
Mr. DeMoss’s business experience includes a decade in corporate finance with Dean Witter and H&Q, and subsequent senior positions with a number of successful publicly held companies including EVP of Docutel, the originator of the Automatic Teller Machine, COO & CFO of Grubb & Ellis, and Founder of RealBid, a successful dot-com company, that eventually merged with Co-Star (CSGP).

Mr. DeMoss received a B.S.E. from Princeton and an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business Administration.

Doug MacRae
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT GROUP
Doug MacRae brings a rich background in software product management and development to Rackwise. Mr. MacRae has significant experience in technology innovation, strategic planning, and software development techniques required to build world class data center software. He has pioneered a number of enterprise class software products designed for use in the web, desktop, and mobile environments. Prior to joining Rackwise, Mr. MacRae was responsible for heading up the software product development efforts at NetCentrics. He held senior management positions at VisionAir, was the CTO of Furndex, and a senior architect at Engineous Software which was acquired by Dassault Systems. Mr. MacRae is an active member of the technology community, serving on the board of the Triangle Technology Executive council.

Mr. MacRae holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech.

David Wagner
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, SALES GROUP
David Wagner brings over twenty years of executive experience in Enterprise Software sales and services companies. As VP of Sales at companies like Polivec, e-Chemicals, and PathMaker Group, Mr. Wagner has grown sales from early formation to multi-million dollar revenues. As Worldwide Director at Tivoli Systems, Mr. Wagner was responsible for over $280mm in annual revenues through large Outsourcers and Systems Integrators including IBM Global Services, EDS, Perot Systems, Accenture, E & Y, Deloitte Consulting and many more. Tivoli was acquired by IBM for $749mm. Mr. Wagner has guided multiple enterprise software companies in the development of Channel Partner programs that have created revenue streams that contribute to rapid and sustainable revenue company growth. Mr. Wagner has also held key positions at Computer Associates and LogLogic.

Robert B. Ney
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT GROUP
Robert B. Ney, brings 30 years of diversified software industry experience to his position at Rackwise. Bob has launched several successful start-ups as well as held key management positions at some of the nation’s most innovative software companies including Oracle, Amdahl, and Ingres through each of their IPOs. Bob most recently was the founding CEO of Sterling Peak, Inc. which built a new generation of equity trading applications using algorithmic idea generation technologies for Wall Street. Prior to this he was the founding CEO of White Energy which built the largest producing ethanol plant in the world. Bob served as CEO of Polivec, Inc,. a leading Security Policy and Compliance management company, and CEO of Elagent Corp. (acquired), which developed enterprise business intelligence products for fortune 100 companies. Bob was also founding CEO of InsureZone, Bridge Pointe Software (acquired) and Soda Creek Technologies (acquired).
Bob has served as a Venture Partner at Crimson Ventures in Palo Alto, the Managing Partner at White Ventures in Dallas Texas, and most recently was the Managing Partner at Andre Meyer Group in New York City managing several of its portfolio companies. Bob was featured in an article in Global Perspectives Magazine as “The 21st Century Executive”. Bob is a Director of Visual Network Design Inc. (Rackwise), Sterling Peak, Inc., Empowered Wireless, and Tango Ventures.

Bob studied psychology and computer science at Southwestern and San Diego State University. Bob is actively involved in volunteer organizations such as “Angel Flight America” as a Command Pilot, donating his time, piloting skills, and resources for transporting children to hospitals across the US for major medical treatments.

Michael A. Peth
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, PROFESSIONAL SERVICES GROUP
Michael Peth brings more than thirty years of international technology experience in Operations and Global Professional Services to Rackwise. He has held executive level positions at both established and start-up companies, including Unisys, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Hyperion Systems and Timogen Systems. Mr. Peth also served as COO for DingQuiang Software – Shanghai China, a software development company.

At both Oracle Corporation and Hyperion Systems, he managed implementations at the company’s most critical clients, including the implementation of Hyperion’s largest multimillion dollar services agreement at Petrobras, Brazil. At Oracle and Hyperion Mr. Peth was instrumental in developing new project management methodologies that reduced both cost and risk while delivering an earlier ROI to the client.

Mr. Peth’s experience as CIO at multiple large Public and Private Healthcare Systems brings day to day critical data center experience to Rackwise, Inc.
Mr. Peth holds an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree in Finance with Honors from San Jose State University. He is also certified in the Hyperion Blueprint, Star, and Rosebud methodologies, Oracle AIM, PJM, CDM, & RIM, Touche-Ross, STRADIS, and Fusion project methodologies.

Mr. Peth actively supports the American Brittany Rescue Foundation and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Tim Barone
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS & PARTNERS
Tim Barone brings over twenty-five years of experience in launching and building successful brands. His sales leadership has been instrumental in building and expanding successful start-ups. Tim was a top performing early sales executive at Candle Corporation (acquired by IBM), helping them sell successfully into corporate data centers in more than 60 countries.

Following his success at Candle Corporation, Mr. Barone held key sales leadership positions at the early stage of Tivoli Systems where his leadership and sales acumen helped the company grow revenue from zero to $50M. Mr. Barone continued his role at Tivoli through its highly successful IPO and its acquisition by IBM, where Mr. Barone continued to help grow the now Tivoli/IBM annual revenue to over $1 B. After this, Mr. Barone served as CEO/President of a top Cisco Systems network security provider in Southern California that was later acquired.

An avid sports fan, Barone attended Ithaca College on a baseball scholarship and was selected to the All-Conference first team three times. He graduated with a B.S. in Communications & Business Administration. Mr. Barone works with both Smile Train and the St Jude Children’s Cancer Hospital.
