There is a buyer and seller for every transaction or you couldn't trade. If you have Level II you'll notice buys on the ask are green and sells on the bid are red. Remember, you have a buyer and a seller on both the ask and the bid.

Buy/Sell on Ask = buy (green)

Sell/buy on Bid = sell (red)
