Your thought process is certainly on track. I do however wish people would stop using that frivolous lawsuite as an excuse as to why WRIT management couldn't figure out how to get anything accomplished for a year. Come on and see this for what it is. The plantif couldn't even prove how much stock he had or even better yet, how much money he lost. My guess is that WRIT had some of the worst counsel big money could buy. Anyways, I could go on about this for hrs.
I would also have to agree with you on this entire IR deal they entered into. If they would just focus on getting deals signed and concerts into theatres, they wouldn't need to hire people to help keep their investors happy / calm.
