EMOT NOTE 5. PATENTS The Company has commenced the patent application process for various designs of its electric
motorized vehicles. Patents are initially measured based on their fair values. Patents will be
amortized on a straight-line basis over a period of 10 to 25 years when the patent process is
considered complete. In April 2012, the patent was approved. Amortization for the patent will
begin accruing accordingly with the completion of the patent process.
