GEO - The government would pay out much more if it were the sole arbiter of health care. I would agree that they are cheap.... but I would also allow for any physician who wishes to run a private practice to accept cash or even insurance payments from private companies if they wish. We need a system of single payer for the vast majority of Americans. Even in England there are private physicians for well to do patients.
