So that's funny because when I spoke to Ken he said that the project would directly benefit Graffiti. I assume not in the awe6 side, but in that games developed can be run through Graffitiplay.com and sold to benefit the company as a whole.
We are talking about Kens new kickstarter right?
That project is a totally seperate company from sdvi/graff. They only need graff to publish console games, so I dont think there will be any sort of revenue sharing for apps or mobile stuff. The game engine they were using is from the awe6 project and isnt related to sdvi/graff. Could be wrong but that was my take after a brief chat with ken.
Anyone else have any chats with Ken so as to compare notes?
I think he was referring to console games with that. Any app games would be sold on either android market or itunes, no need for graffiti for that. The console games I believe needs a licensed publisher which graffiti is. Also awe6 i don't think can create a straight console game, it can create apps/mobile games though. He said they need to use elements of our elemental II engine to create the console games. Definitely needs some clarification by the powers that be.
