also a very interesting angle.

"X.commerce will bridge offline and online experiences for merchants and
consumers in ways that will redefine the marketplace. We¹re focused on
building revolutionary commerce solutions with developers."

and the talk about shopping carts and inventories.

1- makes me think of the ShopIt on Facebook picture here:
http://www.atrinsic.com/interactive/social-media

2- that and the two websites look very similar in set up.
www.atrinsic.com
and
www.x.com

3- The ebay/paypal connection here makes me think of Yahoo!'s new CEO Scott Thompson.

a few decent connections here, but...

Why would there be a dark period though??? They could still be reporting right now until the xcommerce is ready to go.

You actually posted about an x.commerce/kenshoo connection awhile ago. While it's interesting, I think just the shear amount of time that has passed makes this a less than likely possibility. and a lot of that DD is "pre-fall from $s"

It's a different ballgame now IMO.

and still doesn't answer, why a news blackout? That's something I kept looking for in DD but couldn't find until I read the Facebook vs. Yahoo lawsuit stuff. I kept asking "in which of these scenarios is a total news blackout a legitimate choice and still in best interest for shareholders?? There just has to be a legitimate reason." I still thought ATRN was working in our interest and wasn't trying to cheat us. there really has to be reason and i doubt it's "they're all criminals!!" I turned up blank before DDing the lawsuit.
