I would think that Ken could be developing games with that system just for fun. Who knows, but it would seem that time will tell.

THere are many engines for making mobile games already, Cocos2d, Cocos3d, Unreal, come immediately to mind, his might be slightly different in that he has the distribution for consoles, but all in all its just more hoopla and I as a developer would use one of the many other better documented solutions.
