MMTC ~ From my viewpoint...........MMTC has just recently incresed production at OSIS. Certs per Mr. Haavig (Cum Laude)

David Haavig, PhD and MIT's Chief Scientist, stated, "The AOAC Certification process for E. coli and Salmonella, following this application, should only require three or four months. Since the protocol for making test samples and also the procedure and software for testing using the MIT 1000 are identical to that of Listeria, the time required for AOAC RI to develop the E. coli and Salmonella Certification Test Protocol should be substantially reduced."

Excerpt From PR mentioning increased production at OSIS:

The Company will use the proceeds for continued development and increased product roll-out: initially, funding the applications with the Association of Advanced Communities Research Institute ("AOAC RI") for the Certification for the rapid, low cost and accurate bacterial identifications of the pathogens E. coli and Salmonella; and to increase production volume by OSI Optoelectronics, Inc. of the MIT 1000 System.

It makes sense that production is being increased right before Certs. Third party verification IMO is a prerequisite to sales into the Food Industry. So Yes, it makes sense up until now there weren't millions of MIT's in existence. This kind of new technology is just now being accepted or change is being forced into acceptance in regards to food safety/food testing. I would not have expected a great deal of sales/revenues without first having had third party verification. OSIS does not IMO manufacture anything that has a marginal success rate lol.

"I can apply for a physician license even if I don't have the capacity and not get it until I pass an exam given by the state and a governing board."

They already have Passed Listeria, it is a much more complicated bacteria strain. AOAC standards are high. MIT knocked Listeria out of the park. Listeria is a big deal.

"It has a marginal success rate"

AOAC standards are high it detected Listeria consistently and accurately. How is that Marginal? Not to mention at a cost rate in the Pennies? Not to mention standards put in place by NAMSA?

Cotton, you may need glasses or maybe become more familiar with the english language. There have never been a 100 MIT1000 or MIT1000As in production or otherwise.
